Letter to My Teacher

Mr. Heneke, would you look at my 55 word story and my This is John Johns entries.

Sincerely, With a Thousand Thank You's

Parents, you are the most amazing people I know.  Mom, you suffered many hours of hard intense pain just to give me life.  Dad you were out in the hall freaking out, and when then doctors called for "Code Blue" in my room you were first to react.  You guys haven't punished too hard, well actually at all.  You both were so loving and kind.  I can't believe how you guys put up with me throughout these 18 years.  I love how I can talk to you about anything, anytime.  Thank you so much, I love you and always will.

Haikus

Sound on Pain
The sweetest sound strums,
The ghost echoes its voice,
The loneliest man waits.
Life
The body lay still, limp,
Cold air rushes throughout,
The most life he ever felt.
Death
Raven nested in sight,
Red and blue lights flash,
The girl stained with blood.

Patchwork Poem

Turn around bright eyes,
The monster is loose.

I think what it would be like to hold infinity,
In the palm of my hand.

I water'd it in my fears, staring into the eyes
Of eternity.

Seeing the unknown, I was told to leave,
What do I remember of the evacuation?

The great nothingness.

This is John Johns.

It turns out that Nick could not be with us today, he's at home sleeping.  That is ok with me though, cause I get to do his writer's craft assignment.  My name is John Johns and I hail from New York City.  This is a strange place for me to live since I cannot stand people.  I hate their idiotic nature towards everything and their ignorant and arrogant natures.  To tell you about my self, my parents died when I was 15 and was then on responsible for myself.  I had a simple childhood, I was an only child so I didn't have to share the world around me.  But, life wasn't always easy.  I remember sometimes having to move around, and I never made many friends, for the most part it was just my parents and I.  When we lived in Chicago, I made a lot of close friends, but then my parents died I ran.  I ran from the state, they were going to send me to a boarding school, which was where I didn't to end up.  So I ran, I ran so far that I made it to Chile.  While there I found education where ever I went.  I learned how to speak fluent Spanish, and learned an immense amount of history through the libraries and cities I went to.  I saw a great deal of poverty and went through it myself.  While in my travels I found jobs and kept them but, money was usually tight.  I met a man in my travels his name was Jimmy, he became my partner.  After all of my travels I realized that we have a great asset in North America, fresh, clean, drinking water.  I was always wasteful of this great natural resource, but during my travels I realized that I needed to inform people of how important water is.  I run an office that sends out information to people on how to conserve water to make sure that this resource never gets depleted.

55 Word Story.

You sit next to her in your classes.  You sit next to her in study hall.  You go out to lunch together.  She calls you at three in the morning just to talk.  Things are going well.  She leans in, you think she’s going to kiss you.  She whispers, “I love you...like a brother.”

Is it easy to forgive?

Is it easy to forgive and forget?  Who knows, it completely depends on the situation.  I know that sometimes forgiveness is not an easy thing to do, but it has to be done.  I can't think about a time I've hated a person so much that it was impossible to forgive them but I've known people who have.  It tares them apart, all they do is hate.  So forum, please forgive those who have hurt you, it may be hard but do it, there is no sense in holding a grudge, because no one likes a person who's day consists of plotting someone's murder, that'll get you life.

Hi, I'm Nick.

Hi, I'm Nick.  The most important thing you all need to know is, I wish I could fly, and that I had a lightsaber.  This is the first time I've ever had a blog or was ever interested in a blog.  It's part of my summative for my writers craft course.  I think another important thing you need to know is that one day I have high hopes for becoming Spider-Man.  This has been a long time goal.  Its important that I tell you, I'm a geek, but I'm almost certain that this has come through loud and clear by now...
So in class today we are supposed to be working on our assignment that is due next Wednesday.  As basically the entire class logged into their server accounts, one of the schools craziest teachers waltzes in and kicks us out.  Now when I say crazy I mean clinically insane.  She thinks that she has a parrot that sits on her shoulder and on occasion she talks to it.  Now when I say on occasion I mean every three seconds.    I find it absolutely ridonculous that she has the authority to send us away like that, with grade tens no less, when my classmates and I are are seniors.  What is happening to the world.

In our writers craft class we are studying a memoir called The Glass Castle.  This book is actually a really great read.  There are so many negative things that go on throughout this book but the only thing that I seem to enjoy is the authors supreme love for fire.  Fire is a plays a huge roll in the story and in Jeannette Walls life.  The introduction to fire happens when Walls is only three years old.  She was boiling hot dogs when the flames from the stove jumped up and severely burned her body.  Even after this trial she still loved fire, as seen when she burns the face of her favourite Tinkerbell toy.  This is a great book, I'm actually surprised at how much I'm enjoying it.
